Does water remove the alcohol from perfume?

I wear perfume and I live in the United States so perfume here contains alcohol (ethyl/ ethanol) so before I pray namaz can I just perform wudu to get the alcohol off my skin. It that okay? I have done research and read the qur'an and in order to make salat you must be pure with ethanol is not. I wear perfume on my wrists only so when wudu is made that part of the body is washed so when I wash it does the water remove the alcohol.
