A Volcano may erupt in Sarah Palin's State of Alaska..was Bobby Jindal wrong?

A volcano is ready to Erupt in Alaska and I was just thinking of the comments made earlier this year by Bobby Jindal, you all remember Bobby Jindal, the Indian-American that gave the Republican response to Obama speech on the economy and the stimulus? I know he was rather forgettable, but remember he told us about the wasteful spending, especially on Volcano funding to detect eruptions...he said it was wasteful and unnecessary and that the Govt had no business with Volcano's, Sarah Palin later gave him rave reviews. Does this reflect an ignorance on the part of Republicans to modern technology or do they just not care about Volcanoes and their aftermath. Mt St Helen's killed quite a few people and changed the landscape overnight. I wonder with this illogical thinking if Bobby Jindal also though the money in Stimulus for Hurricane tracking was also a waste?
