How would you feel in this situation?

okay i went to a "christian" halloween party last night. i am trying to make a turnaround in my life because of my past. so instead of the usual parties i do i went to this one instead because a friend invited me. so i went to sit on their and this girl flipped out on me because i nearly sat on her camera. people weren't inviting to me. i was a "glammed" up steelers fan. it made me angry so i drove and left the party. i went to my friend's apartment. do you think i did the right thing?
