I want to buy a plane ticket but i wasnt to arrive and depart from two different places. HELP?!?

So I am travelling to Thailand, and I want to fly into Chiang Mai, but depart from most likely Ko Samui. How can I go about this? Or do I just have to buy a ticket to Bangkok, then fly to each place? This is all using expedia. Thanks!
