Does a single member Nevada LLC has to file tax return?

From what I understand, a single member LLC may not have to file a tax return as to income can be resported in schedule C or Schedule E (pive realestate activities) on the member's tax return. However, a multi-member LlC would have to file its own separate tax return. Is this correct?
